By his songs we get an insight of how his surroundings are like. The NAMA award winning star has captivated the hearts of many aspiring Zimdancehall musicians as well as the fans.

Tocky has concentrated his efforts in the production of a unique kind of music called ZimDancehall. The genre is unique in the sense that it is wholly Zimbabwean and it has won popular support due to its home grown flavor as compared to the urban grooves genre and hip-hop which are western oriented. Tocky’s lyrics are distinct from those of his fellows due to a commendable and credible level of maturity that he exhibits in his music. There has been wide criticism showered on some ZimDacehall musicians due to the explicit nature of their music content. Tocky Vibes stands as a beacon of light considering the level of maturity in his lyrics.

In most of his songs, he appreciates the role of parenting figures, the importance of fidelity as well as the rewards of working hard. In his song titled “Shanda” Tocky deploys a unique artistic style in which he exhorts himself and other musicians to work hard in the industry despite various setbacks that they encounter. In one of his songs, he also talks about the HIV and AIDS pandemic. It goes without saying that one of the most adored songs, and perhaps his outstanding song in 2014 was “Amai”. The 57th annual grammy awards

The Grammys are a night of spectacular performances, gorgeous outfits and musicians being incredibly weird. On the 8th of February we saw the 57th annual grammy awards being held supported by Microsoft among others.

From ELO to Katy Perry, the night was filled with plenty of show-stopping moments that showcased several talented artists from all corners of the music industry. However, even top performers have their awkward moments.

It's the weird moments that make award shows all worth while — that, and seeing Paul McCartney dancing to "Evil Woman."

Among all this weird 15 events just stood out:

1)Madonna's matador outfit.

2. Chrissy Teigen's awkward dancing

3. Jessie J. and Tom Jones' duet

4. Katy Perry rockin' out

5. Pharell's awkward handshake with Ed Sheeran

6. Pharell's failed attempt at a moonwalk

The awards are held as a means of encouraging creativity and excellence in the arts industry. They also provide an opportunity for artistes to market and publicise the artworks locally, regionally and internationally.
This year’s edition was held under the theme Unite, Excite and Educate Zimbabwe on its proud heritage and diversity through arts and culture. For an artiste to be nominated for this year’s awards, their work should have been created between December 1, 2012 and November 30, 2013.However, many observers believe that some of the nominees did not excel in the period under review and obviously casting doubt the awards being a true reflection of the industry at the moment.

As the awards proceeded we could not help but notice that our own comedian David Mubaiwa "Sabhuku Vharazipi" was missing in action.Mubaiwa is the man who plays the role of Sabhuku Vharazipi in the hilarious drama Sabhuku Vharazipi, whose comic acts have reached a level of transforming people’s lives, especially those who are in rural areas.
